Quality
Glamocell has been founded on the belief that only the best quality components and high quality manufacturing techniques coupled together will produce the top quality results that our end customers demand.
We believe that every customer has to be listened to in order to achieve the best results and total satisfaction. Although we manufacture a range of standard products for the simple requirements, very often we are finding that our customers require a product that is ‘arrived at by different drivers and priorities’. We will listen and recommend.
Glamocell is constantly improving as the technology continually sets new standards. This is why we have established relationships with our key suppliers and co-operate with them at every step change in technology i.e. Cree. With Cree we know we have the quality at the heart of our range with a track record that still remains at the top. LED’s have now surpassed the 160 lm per watt barrier and this at a 4700 Kelvin range - impressive we think! This results in usable technology and a desirable effect. However, even if you are using the best LED-chips available, that alone will not guarantee a superior quality product. All the details have to be right. We have learned from experience that from the controlling of each assembly workers pratices to good design in heat sink, it is all important. All our products are exhaustively tested for at least 24 hours prior to dispatch. This ensures minimum failures and returns and maximum quality.
Our quality control systems maintain our factory standards and logistics whilst our Engineering Teams work closely with our Technical Head on all technical issues.
Standards
We have gained the following standards within our group manufacturing:
IS0 9001:2000 certificate
IS0 14000 certificate
Plus achieved UL, GS, GSG, CE, 3C accreditations.
Our factory contains all relevant dust free sections and anti-static chambers as well as embracing the light cube testing facility (state of the art) equipment for further developments.
Our Chosen Charity - Project HOPE
"Project Hope is set up as a direct result of a massive earthquake in a part of the world that will see more of this type of devastation as a consequence of our changing environment due, we believe, to increased CO2 levels.
We in our small way are trying to lessen the effects of CO2 emissions that will, if left unchecked, lead to more frequent devastations of this type.
Project Hope demonstrates the effect that a few people and organisations can achieve with determination and focus. We sincerely believe that if society adopts small changes then the consequences will be of enormous benefit to us all."
Alan Benton, Managing Director, Glamocell Ltd.
